Trustpilot really should allow the option for ZERO stars, so I'm forced with great reluctance to give this criminal corporation at least 1-star, which is by far 1 more star than they deserve. This was the first time I made a purchase from this criminal enterprise, and have subsequently learned a very hard lesson. This crooked merchant wastes not even 1-minute after you click to purchase to post the charge to your credit card. Whereas, they will delay, lie to you, delay with no answer back, lie again with a new story/excuse, and continue to delay with more lies for weeks on end to inspect/verify, and issue the credit card refund for a confirmed (by FedEx) returned jewelry item. It has been over 3-weeks since I returned the item, and the filthy, slippery, exceedingly rude customer service crooks consistently tell me that it could take weeks or longer before they can inspect/confirm the item, and then another up to 10-business days after that for the credit to appear in my credit card account. In other words, it could be many months (not weeks) before I see the full refund posted to my card account Meanwhile, my credit limit is max-ed out such that I can't use the card. Better Business Bureau is my next stop followed by the appropriate Fed agencies.
Stay clear of these dirty crooks. Instead, Costco or James Allen are great best choices. We've made several very high end purchases from both, and have had a most excellent experience and outcome each and every time.
The 7 mm earrings I purchased from Blue Nile were beautiful! However, they are nearly colorless; they could easily be mistaken for large-ish diamonds. When I contacted customer service, they explained that this was the natural appearance of the stone, so against pale skin, they will appear colorless.
I had asked for an exchange, which was handled through "jewelry repair" processes. When it was determined this was the deepest color of aquamarine available in that size in their stock, they returned the earrings to me... but without the presentation case (only in jewelry repair case, an ugly plastic thing.) So I had to call and ask for another presentation box. This arrived promptly, but I missed the opportunity to present the earrings on my daughter's birthday (even though I had ordered them originally a month before the Big Day.)
So, just be aware that the natural color of this stone is VERY pale blue, which isn't very visible against pale skin.
Overall, I love Blue Nileand would do business with them again for any similar purchase.

I purchased a half carat single diamond to replace a lost stud earring. After researching a number of sites, I decided to use Blue Nile to make my purchase. I felt that the amount of information I was able to find about the various grades and sizes of loose diamonds available on the site gave me a lot of confidence in my selection. Prices rationally corresponded to the qualities of the diamonds and while confusing at first, the detailed information allowed me to learn a great deal about how one must prioritize their most important characteristics and compromise on the others.
The only real "issue" was that the diamond I selected would not ship immediately so I did have to wait several weeks for it to arrive. I knew this going in to the purchase so I can't really fault Blue Nile for this.
In the end, I was very satisfied with my purchase and the new diamond (and martini setting also purchased from Blue Nile), was a great match with my remaining stud. I would definitely buy again from this company.
We got our engagement and wedding rings(for both of us). They customized the men's ring, that was available nowhere. Too good….
I purchased an engagement ring from Blue Nile. After looking at the local jewelry shops, I just hadn't found what I wanted. Blue Nile had both the ring and the diamond that fit my budget and her style. She said yes, and continues to stop and stare at it from time to time. Thanks Blue Nile!
The ring itself seems to be great. I ordered in advance for a proposal to happen in the bahamas on a trip. The date to arrive was well in advance. Blue Nile missed it, repeatedly pushed it back, and I ended up having no ring for the trip. Good product and the support person was great. The outcome created some serious disappointment.
Every time I have bought from blue Nile has always been a top notch experience..and excellent quality merchandise..I will continue in the future to purchase more of their jewelry for a wide variety of occasions.. thanks Chris

So disappointed that the item I purchased in April, and now being asked to review, has still not been sent due to further delays!
No solution was offered, or discount to purchase another item, due to delay being "on their suppliers end". I now have to buy another item for my daughter's birthday!
Don't rely on Blue Nile for time sensitive items.
The ring is beautiful. The process was painless. As the 30+ days drew to an end, the ring went on sale for $500 cheaper. The company would not honor the refund. This saddened me and made the experience a little less sweet.
My husband has bee surprising me with Blue Nile diamonds since 2009! I am always so pleased with the quality of the diamonds as well as the settings. I have 4 rings, a pair of studs, hoops and a beautiful pendant. Blue Nile's customer care and service team is top notch too!
I've had my rings appraised for insurance purposes and my appraisals have all come back for a much higher replacement value than we spent.
I will forever refer friends and family to Blue Nile!
I waited way over the recommended time for the package. I made numerous calls to Blue Nile agents to trace the package, to no avail. The package disappeared off grid, then suddenly reappeared. Clearly Blue Nile lost control of the process and the experience was stressful and upsetting as the package arrived after Valentines Day.
Purchased a London Blue Topaz ring for my wife. The size of the stone was substantial and color of the stone was the same as in the picture. Been shopping with blue nile for almost 20 years now. Never been disapointed in a purchase. Customer service has always been great and shipping always on time or earlier than expected.
The shopping experience was easy enough, as usual. Unfortunately, the emeralds in the earrings I purchased were not as green as the image shown which was what you'd expect when you think of emerald green. Instead, they are a shade or two lighter, milkier if you will. And these were cheap! My wife says she likes them but she's also a very polite person. I'd be lying if said I wasn't disappointed.
